  • Inclusions: Every hire includes bike as specified (electric or regular), helmet, lock, bag, map with friendly advice, transport from the ride and mechanical assistance for a hassle free experience.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

  • Start – Indicative only, bikes will be ready at store opening time. We recommend to leave between 10.00-11.30 AM at your leisure.
  • Return Shuttle – 4pm from Te Awanga Estate (back in Napier by 4.30pm)
  • Our e-bikes come in XS-XL sizes, minimum height is 148cm.
  • Below 18 years old must be accompanied by a guardian.
  • Child pricing – 16 years of age or younger on regular bike.
  • Most people take 2 to 2.5 hours to cycle this route, and we recommend allowing at least 1/2 hour for wine tasting and at least an hour for lunch.

A fabulous winery ride along the stunning coast and through wetlands towards Te Kauwae-a-Māui – Cape Kidnappers.

Leaving from our shop, you will cycle along the beautiful coast. Stop at magical Atea A Rangi Star Compass and then continue through the coastal wetlands, before arriving to the renowned coastal wineries.

Reward yourself with wine tasting and lunch at one of the three cellar doors. Enjoy the views of Cape Kidnappers and perhaps take a stroll along the beach before our shuttle arrives to return you to Napier.

If you wish to have lunch at one of the wineries, we recommend making a booking (essential on weekends) as they are very popular. Please get in touch with us if you would like help planning times.
