IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
- Start time – 10:30am shuttle departs our store. Please come to check-in around 10:15am
- Return Shuttle – 4pm from Black Barn winery (back in Napier by 4.30pm).
- Distance 20km. Most people take about 2 hours to cycle this route, and we recommend allowing at least 1/2 hour for wine tasting and at least an hour for lunch.
- We recommend to book for lunch and wine tasting, especially on weekends and summer peak season
- Our e-bikes come in XSS-XL sizes, minimum height is 140cm.
- Below 18 years old must be accompanied by a guardian.
- Child pricing – 16 years of age or younger on regular bike.
Stunning scenery, world class wineries, all along easy riding cycle trails.
We will take you and your bike to Clifton trail head to start your ride. You can start your day with a coffee in the historic sheep station – now the Hygge Cafe.
Explore beautiful Cape Coast with couple of wineries to visit. The cycle trail will then take you to Haumoana estuary and follows the Tukituki River with stunning views of Te Mata Peak.
Soak in the scenery and pop in to one of the wineries along the way for a lunch and wine tasting.
Return to Napier by our shuttle bus leaving from Black Barn winery at 4pm.
If you wish to have lunch at one of the wineries, we recommend making a booking (essential on weekends) as they are very popular. Please get in touch with us if you would like help planning times.
