Description
Best way to explore this very special part of Hawke’s Bay set along picturesque Cape Coast and Tukituki River valley. Soak in coastal views, explore local arts scene, slow down through estuary wetlands to see the rich birdlife and visit up to seven cellar doors and enjoy the renowned local cuisine.
Morning shuttle takes you to start of the route in Clifton and return shuttle leaves from Black Barn winery.

- Distance – 20-25km ~ up to 2.5 hours of easy cycling
- Depart – shuttle leaves our store at 10.30am
- Return – shuttle leaves at 4pm from Black Barn Winery back to Napier (20-30 minutes drive)

Wineries have varying opening times by season; we try our best to advise up-to-date opening times on the day but cannot guarantee availability or unexpected closure.
Lunch and wine tasting booking is recommended, especially during summer and busy weekends.

- Check-in 10.15am, sign a waiver, fit helmet.
- Your bikes will be ready on a trailer. We’ll set you up upon arrival at the trails head with seat height to your liking, provide safety briefing and explain the route.
- Return shuttle departs Black Barn Winery at 4:00pm to Napier (20-30 minutes drive).

- Riders below 18 must be accompanied by a guardian.
- E‑bikes fit riders with a minimum height of 140cm.
- Bookings for lunch and tastings are recommended and essential on weekends.
- Wineries have varying opening times by season; we will advise which wineries are expected to be open on the day but cannot guarantee availability or unexpected closure.
- Most people take around 2 hours 30 minutes to cycle the route; allow at least 30 minutes for tastings and at least 1 hour for lunch.

All cruise passengers are transported on free shuttle bus from Napier Port to Napier Visitors Centre (5 minutes ride). We are located right across the road.
